Executing tasks or modifying tasks (changing owner, renaming an app) in the Qlik Sense Management Console and refreshing the page does not update the correct task status. Issue affects Content Admin and Deployment Admin roles.
The behaviour began after an upgrade of Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows.
This issue can be mitigated beginning with August 2021 by enabling the QMCCachingSupport Security Rule.
Enable QmcTaskTableCacheDisabled.
To do so:
Upgrade to the latest Service Release and disable the caching functionality:
To do so:
NOTE: Make sure to use lower case when setting values to true or false as capabilities.json file is case sensitive.
Should the issue persist after applying the workaround/fix, contact Qlik Support.
is a restart necessary?
@AlexGolz A restart is recommended.
I still see this happening in QSEoW Nov '21
Still happening on Feb'22

Hi
After making this change I'm not able to see sheets in unpublished apps in my workstream.

Congrid
In my case:
All root users have no problem with task statuses.
But other users don't see the correct status after update.
The problem was in the resource filter
After adding ExecutionResult_* everything works fine.
@Sonja_Bauernfeind We have upgraded from November 2020 SR9 to November 2021 SR5, we have enabled QMCCachingSupport Security Rule and it seems to be working fine.
Will this create any other resource overhead in the environment?
No issues are anticipated, @sourabh_w.
All the best,
Sonja
Issue is still around and we are on Aug 2022 Patch 3.
This did solve the problem though.
