"A picture is worth a thousand words, but a visualization can tell a million stories."

Our ability to tell stories is an art form as old as language itself. From ancient cave paintings to oral traditions passed through generations, the essence of stories has evolved alongside our communication methods. It began with visual tales etched on cave walls, transitioned into spoken narratives, and eventually found its way into written, printed, and typed forms.

Ultimately, modern analytics and visualizations serve the same purpose as sharing and retelling stories: guiding business users to make important and informed decisions. These decisions, however, are not made alone, and require stories to persuade and engage others, often in boardrooms or video calls. But the goal of the story remains unchanged: to inspire action, instill confidence, and ensure safety.

So, what happens in the next chapter?

Today, Qlik is proud to announce a new era in data visualization and dashboard design. With the latest advancements in Qlik, you can bid farewell to the days of grappling with custom style sheets and juggling third-party add-ons. It's time to explore your creativity and take control of your narrative like never before!

It's exciting, and I believe many customers can take advantage of this alternative to the cumbersome code development of mashup. When will the demo be available, download and view it on the Qlik Demo?

Happy for all the improvements. THANK YOU !!!!!(Should have been there for 10 years now, IMHO. But better later than never !)

+ BIG BUT(s)...

I recon I am an old dynozaurus, still loving even today more the flexibility of design options Qlikview used to have. It's more than 10 years Qlik Sense has been around and Qlik Sense objects are still missing a lot of that options:

1. Most of these objects are in Qlik extensions, instead of being in the regular range of objects !
Why ? This is creating a lack of consistency.

2. Most of the main objects are still missing styling options (bar chart, etc. are still so limited in formatting options -  fonts, labels formatting, colors, etc)
And don't give me the BS answer with CSS.  It's great you can, but it's not user friendly at all. It's plain laziness or bad decision in cutting dev costs !

3. Even now there is no offset value for bar charts (and waterfall object still has a joke of options, in terms of number of dimensions & measures, coloring, etc. Add ASAP at least an expression controlled coloring, please !)

4. Who selected the default font in Qlik Sense should be fired.
No UX in his mind: It's so hard to distinct 5 of 6  ! Nobody say or said anything  ? for 10 years !?

+More places to improve (FAST!):

4. The new settings that appears in a second right panel is inconsistent between objects.
It's a mess !

5. The option to open and close chapters in left and right panel is still clumzy.
It should have at leas tan option to collapse a chapter while pressing it's title

6.The position of copy/paste/delete/undo/redo is moving around from Saas /  On Prem / Desktop & versions (another mess)

7. The position of previous & next  page are moving away also (another mess). They should be next to Select Page (ALLWAYS!)

8. The initial decision of positioning lots of objects is not coherent. Today still same
For exemple: Analyze sheet is kind of in the middle, but changing sheet you have it in the right corner, wjhile Previous & Next moves around

9. Still imature Copy Paste engine (in Expression Edit and other places ...)
some times is working Ctrl-C, but not working RightClick-Copy, some times the other way

10. The decision to cancel the change of the button label inside Edit Sheet to Done Editing was bad ! (Just the inversed color is not saying something clear visually )

Sorry for being so blunt.
I rest my case here.
