Platform Automation Limits?

I understand there is a limit of 5000 automation runs per 30 days as standard.
How is this limit calculated?
Is that 5000 executions in total for the whole tenant per 30 days?
Or is it 5000 executions per automation per 30 days?
Or per user per 30 days?

Does scheduled reloads count against the same limit?
Aka a scheduled reload counts as one automation execution?

Hi @anderseriksson ,

The limit is counted across all automations in a tenant, regardless of the owner or the run mode (manual, triggered, webhook, scheduled, API). Test runs done inside the automation editor will also count towards this limit.

Scheduling a reload from within the hub does not use automations so it doesn't count towards the limit.

@Emile_Koslowski thank you, exactly the information I was looking for.
Is there some way of getting an accurate number for how many automations we are running per 30 day period currently? Looking at each automation and then trying to sum it up is overwhelming.
Is this visible in QMC somewhere or available in an Analyzer app?

For now, you need to ask your account manager to get the exact number. Once you exceed the 5000 limit, you'll receive monthly emails on your usage.

We're working on improvements to make these metrics available in your tenant.

Once we exceed the limit it's too late getting the notice.
Can't be proactive if getting the notification afterwards.
Will have to go through the account manager then.
