Microsoft outlook connector - No permission Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working with Qlik Automations to migrate from SMTP to the Microsoft Outlook connector. I have successfully completed the migration, but I still have a few questions.

For example, let’s say Person A creates an Outlook connection and then transfers the ownership of the automation to Person B, and the automation is scheduled to run at a specific time. When it runs, I receive a “No permission” error in the Outlook connector block.

I want to understand why this behavior occurs. Previously, when we used SMTP, we did not face this issue. However, with the Outlook connector, this permission problem appears.

Does the Outlook connector require the connection to be created by the same user under whom the automation runs? Or is there another recommended way to handle this scenario?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Yash20031 , does the new user have access to the automation connection.
That can be shared using this process: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Shared-automation-connections/ta-p/2456662
If they do have access, can you please share the exact error?
