Hallo everyone!
Today, I went to delete a Excel data to a Data space in SaaS, and I realized that it is no longer possible.
Has anyone been through this situation?
How do I delete data in data space?
Hello,
Please check the 2 options below and if nothing helps, you can elaborate further on the use case scenario (Share some screenshots etc.) so we could check further.
If you have created Data asset in Data space try this:
If you have uploaded a file in Managed Space try this:
If you try to delete the file directly from the space you will notice that there is not any option available:
However, here is a workaround that will help you achieve that:
1. Create a test app within the same space (You can delete it later)
2. Choose the option Files and other sources
3. Choose "Data files > Data files" and your EXCEL file should be there with a delete button
4. Click on the delete icon and confirm that you want to delete it
5. The file should have disappeared from the space as well now
I hope that this information was helpful. In case I have misunderstood the use case scenario, please elaborate in details by providing additional information. However, if it has helped you resolve the issue, addressed your concerns or at least pointed you in the right direction, please mark it as Accepted Solution to give further visibility to other community members.
