I went through the user guide but there was no information about the supported sources ,they have only mentioned the supported replicate versions.
And they have given a list of supported hive distributions(Is this the list of supported targets)
@Ray0801 , Compose for Data Lakes is purpose built to consume data fed to it by Qlik Replicate. Thus any source supported by Qlik Replicate is supported by Compose for Data Lakes.
This provides the supported sources for Replicate - https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/Content/Replicate/April%202020/Support_Matrix.pdf
With respect to targets, Qlik Compose for Data Lakes supports:
Cloud Provider / On-Premise | Storage | Compute (for Spark/Hive processing) |
AWS | S3 | EMR |
S3 | Databricks | |
Azure | ADLS | Azure Databricks |
ADLS | HD Insight | |
Google Cloud | Google Cloud Storage | DataProc |
On-Premise | HDFS | Cloudera / Hortonworks |
The Hive distributions listed in the support guide reflect the versions supported for the above but with specific information for spark / hive etc.
Hope that helps!
Hi Ray,
To add on to Tim's response, the use of Replicate for sourcing data to Qlik Compose for Data Lakes is in Chapter 3 of the user guide "Getting Started with Qlik Compose for Data Lakes".
