Changing Transaction Date on a DM fact table

We need to change the transaction date on a DM Fact table.

I'm going to guess that if I select a different transaction data on a DM fact table I will have to do a full load?

Please confirm or suggest course of action.

@RonFusionHSLLC  If you change the transaction data on the fact table on an existing DM, then Compose will tell you that the DM tables in the database are different from the DM definition and ask you to drop and rebuild the DM.

In my example below, I have changed the transaction date from 'order date' to 'Required date' and then validated it.

OK, I just changed the transaction date, saved and validated.

Validation did not recognize the change, and did not ask to drop/re-create DM

I re-edited the fact table just to check - it did save the change

I'm going to drop/recreate, optimize for initial load and generate and see what happens
