How to make redundant data in a column record only as one in kpi?

How to make redundant data in a column count only as one in KPI? For example, I have 5 jade in a column, 6 dj in the same column and 10 Ram is also in the same column. In the KPI I wanted it to appear as I have only 3 data on that column. Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

Hi Jade,

In general what you want to perform is a DISTINCT COUNT (or COUNT DISTINCT in DW / SQL terms).

is this related to Qlik Compose for data warehouses or QlikSense  (or Compose DW with another BI tool)?

If you can let me know where you want to apply this logic, I can provide some prescriptive guidance 🙂 .
