Qlik Sense Business Analysis Certification
Hi,
I'm scheduled to write my Qlik Sense Business Analysis Certification exam next month. Can anybody advise me on what type of questions they ask? I can't seem to get much info about this.
Kind regards,
Conrad

Don't reckon you'll get much information.
Qlik certification exams are like Fight Club...

There is, however, some information here - http://www.qlik.com/services/training/qlik-sense-certification
I'm sure you've already seen that though

Sample questions are hard to come by, I've been looking searching for a good data bank of questions with no success. It'll be helpful if you shared your exam experience with the group.
Thanks!

Hi Conrad,
I did the Business Analyst certification today and passed it. It's impossible to go into detail of the questions but in general the questions asked are in line with exam domain areas listed here. So, if you focus your preparation on this, you should be able to pass the exam also. In preparation you can watch the Qlik Sense videos found on YouTube and in QlikCommunity. Also building a couple of Sense apps yourself with all the possibilities Sense has to offer (master elements, story telling, etc.) will help you a lot. A quick read through the Sense help pages is also advisable. Many questions asked can be answered just straight from the help pages.
One tip: the Business Analist Skill Assessment is not helpful at all. Just skip this one.
Good luck with the exam!
Cheers,
Michiel

Did they ask anything about API, mashups, HTML, Java etc?

Thank you Conrad!
There were no detailed questions about API, etc.... You only need to know when to advice for a solution outside Qlik Sense and if this solution must be done by making use of mashups or Qlik APIs. So, only on a high level. The Business Analist Skill Assessment however goes much, much deeper into this subject. Therefore it's better to skip this assessment. It only causes confusion. The information Qlik gives about this certification scopes it very well.
Cheers,
Michiel

Hi Michiel,
Can you tell how many questions are there in Business analyst certification exam. I saw it as 60 questions and 68 % pass percentage having 120 minutes, but when i tried to book my slot i saw 150 minutes exam for v2. is there any change in number of questions?
Also how deep the questions are on this part
Prepare Data for Application (17% of the exam)
- Determine the steps for loading data from a file-based data source
- Given a data model, resolve simple data modeling issues that exist (e.g., structure issues, circular reference, synthetic keys)
- Given a data model, resolve simple data quality issues that exist (e.g., content issues, associations)
data modeling, and are there any questions on file formatting and QVD, QVX files?
Thanks,
Pavan
