interval and if expression

hi, i'd like to know if my expression is correct.

if parameter <1.5 give out extension

if paramter is in [1.5 ; 2[ give out 60

if parameter is in [2 ; 2.4[ give out 48

if parameter is > 2.4 give out 36

here is my solution. is expression correct?

if(parameter<10.5, 'extension',

if(parameter=1.5 or parameter<2.0, '60',

if(parameter=2.0 or parameter <2.4, '48','36')))
