A few questions regarding Nprint

Have a few questions regarding Nprint

1, can hidden object be used? or objects with variable as the object name?

2,in the qvw file, if a few actions (clicks which will select possible value from listbox) will be required to generate certain reports. can such actions be set in Nprint so that when Nprint is run, those preset actions could be action to present required objects(which will be eventually used in the Nprint process?

1-Here - you need to create the objects for Nprinting based on your need.

some functionalities will not work - so we need to do accordingly .

2- yes what ever the application you hosted in server (same will be reflected in Nprinting as well)

so the listbox with restriction you can see -

and if you want less than that  values you can use the  filters options in Nprinting.

hi

1.regarding hidden objects , you can use them if you'll activate them before using an nprinting filter

2.the object name isn't important nprinting is working by Chart Id

3. nprinting can simulate any sequence of user selections

Hi,

Qlik NPrinting supports QlikView hidden objects if they are saved on visible sheets. Hidden sheets are not supported so all objects stored in an hidden sheet will not be visible in the template editor.

Ruggero

Thanks Liron.

Do you have any link to the existing example where the sequence of user selections can be simulated.
