Attempting to use new Nprinting April 2018, can't use Designer

We have upgraded Nprinting servers to April 2018. Things I've noticed:

• Metadata reload is blazing fast now Thanks!!!!!!!
• Fixed an issue with generation of reports with multiple levels which was consistently failing on the previous versions, now works as expected. Thanks!!!

However when I upgrade the designer to April 2018 We get an error popup saying it's unable to communicate with the server. Note that we have not upgrade Qlikview Server, only Nprinting server - could that be the issue? If I install the Sept 17 version it works fine.

No - there is no link between NPrinitng designer not working and Qlik Sense upgrade. Those 2 are separate components

You might want to re-install designer using elevated administrator rights.
