Connot connect NPrint to Excel Office 365

We were running qlik nprint version 19.19 with the latest version of office 365 and began getting connection errors. We've since then upgraded to version 21.14.7.0 on the Nprint Server, Engine, and Designer and still getting the same error. We've set excel to compatibility mode.

The previous erro used to say could not connect to RPC server. Now its

I got it to work. I had to set the options back to Optimize for best appearance instead of optimize for compatibility

Hi

This is a known issue and can generally be resolved by upgrading to Nprinting May 2021 SR 3 which contains the fix.

However, please check and go through this article 'before' you upgrade again to ensure it is not resolvable simply for example by managing your OS display settings down to 100 percent.

Kind regards...

Hi,

This was discussed many times recently on community here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting-Discussions/Qlik-NPrinting-Designer-can-t-find-a-suppor... and frankly is the first thing you see as soon as you enter NPrinting community.

So just a word of advice: please check community for existing topics before posting the same question over and over again. By saying that also please always provide things you have researched, tested and which did not work for you so we dont point you back to the same topics.

As mentioned in above topic - this was fixed in the latest release so you should be able to upgrade to May 2021 SR3 to get this fixed.

cheers

Lech

Hi @cdao

btw - you mentioned you have upgraded to 21.14.7.0 which is the May 2021 SR3 version. On your label in the post you have used May 2021 SR1. Do you mind confirming which information is true to your setup. 21.14.7.0 supposed to have the problem fixed si if it isn't then we may need to troubleshoot more?

EDIT:

I am assuming you are already on the latest version, but did not have "May 2021 SR3" version to choose when picking the label

Hello Lech, we're using:

Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR3

Version: 21.14.7.0

The latest version which was supposed to resolve the issue but I'm still getting the error message posted above.

I'm also using the latest version of Excel: 2111

QlikSense is still on version November 2018 - 12.44.1

- I'm able to refresh my connections and connect from NPrint
