One email can only be registered to one user?

Hi NPrinting experts,

I am using NPrinting 17.3. I found for the same email address, it is allowed to create only one user.

What if I want the same recipient receives different reports with different filters?

For example for the same email address, I need it to receive weekly report for country USA and monthly report for USA + Canada?

If it is only one recipient, we can defined the filters at report or task level but what if there are 200 recipients, I need all of them receive one country's report weekly and region report including different countries monthly?

Is it doable?

Why dont you schedule the user import task just before the published task so you can change the user filters.

Hi Andy,

Do you mean we import the users with some filters before running a task (Task A), and then import another user list with different filters, which overwrite the existing users, then run the other task (Task B)?

It is a very cleaver way and in theory it should work. I didn't test importing the user list for the new version (17.3) but the old version of NP is full of problem when importing users.

  • It is a theory. I have the same challenge myself and see the limitation you describe in the import function as a one off.  its how I'm going to attempt to resolve the issue. The challange I see is what happens if a task fails before running then published task.  it's not possible to link tasks to trigger on success which would be ideal.
