In Nprinting excel how to create pivot table , while fetching pivot table object from Qliksense not shown in Nprinting table objects. meantime I want create pivot table in Nprinting report. usually drag n drop columns in exel sheet . I used insert pivot table from insert menu in excel . is it right format
Qlik NPrinting supports Excel pivot tables. You can create them in your reports in the following two ways:
- Creating an Excel pivot table report using levels ‒ Qlik NPrinting
- Creating pivot table using Excel table columns ‒ Qlik NPrinting
In both cases you must start from a QlikView or a Qlik Sense straight table. If you have a pivot table you can clone it and convert the clone into a straight. Then refresh the metadata and use the new clone.
If you add a Qlik Sense or QlikView pivot table in the Tables node you will nod see the single columns. So you cannot drag and drop each column manually.
As alternative you can add the original pivot as Images.

@Ruggero_Piccoli Do you know the technical challenge why we cannot import a Qlikview Pivot table into NPrinting ?
That would really help when we have a scenario where we change a dimension value from row to column 🙂 Do you have any alternatives ?
Hi,
You can import QlikView Pivot Tables into Qlik NPrinting templates, they are supported. You cannot import QlikView Pivot Tables in all nodes of a template, for example Levels do not support QlikView Pivot Tables, but you can import them as images or tables.
Refer to this help site page https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2019/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Qlik-objects...
Maybe you mean that you don't see the columns of a QlikView Pivot Table when you add it in the Tables node but this is work as design. If you want to see the column you must convert the pivot into a straight table.
