Hi,
I have an odd issue when producing an NPrinting excel report. All the pie charts have a partial black background when the background is actually white in QlikView. (see attachment). The black is part of the image and not another object underneath.
When I run the task stand alone, the background is correct. Only when the same task runs within a schedule does the black appear.
Has anyone seen this before ? What could be the cause ?
fyi - The excel report consists of 10 tabs with 12 - 14 pie charts on each - about 2.5Mb
Thanks,
Neil
I contacted Qlik wh informed me that they had seen something similar to this before with the same combination of version 16.0.0.0 for both NP server and NP designer Windows 2008 sp2.
They requested I upgrade Windows 2008 which resolved the issue.
I have not - it looks like the format being generated is Excel as ell - do you have the same issue if you generate the report in pdf?
You also stated the black part is part of the image? which part.
can you duplicate the issue in a Preview (just preview report in the different formats) as opposed to the manual task?
Which version of QlikView NPrinting and QlikView desktop are you using?
Do you get the same result if you export the pie chart manually in the same format from within QlikView Desktop?
from the png, it looks like you are creating in excel. What happens if you right click on the obkect in Qlikview and copy both the image and object and paste in Excel - what does that look like?
is ther a qvw that you can attach?
Hi, Andrea.
I don't get the black if I export the pie chart manually to excel.
I am using version 16.0.0.0 for both NP server and NP designer and QlikView v11.2 SR8
It doesn't occur in Preview mode or occur if I run the task manually either.
Cheers,
Neil

can you possibly asstach the qvw or a qvw that has the issue. I have never expreienced that system with any of my pie charts when exporting to Excel or other tempalte types
