Dear Qlik Support Team,
After upgrading to the last version of Qlikview and Nprinting (May 2023), we noticed that charts set to be displayed as images in Excel reports are randomly blank.
See screenshots below: same report template with different renders.
In the Designer, images appear correctly in preview mode.
What we tried so far with no success : open/save the report and update the metadata
Any idea what happens ?
Regards,
Cédric.
My Qlik Partner informed me today that the problem is officially identified as a bug by the Qlik Support in the last Qlikview version (May 2023). As a workaround the support recommends to use a local connection, until a patch is released.
Hello All,
Yes, the issue is found to be with Qlik View May 2023 not with the Nprinting. It works perfectly fine with Qlik View May 2022 SR2 and earlier supported Qlik View versions.
And yes, the problem is only when connected via Qlik View Server Connection.
The QV BUG: QV-24977 is being investigated currently.
Workaround:
Use Qlik View local connection
Hi,
I tried the suggested solution using local connection, but the problem persists.
@castro88 there is no suggested solution, this is a bug being investigated by R&D currently, stay tuned here for updates.

After an upgrade, QlikView charts are displayed as blank objects in Qlik NPrinting
Qlik Support informed : "This is to let you know that the fix is planned in Qlik View 12.80 SR2. It is planned to be released in the last week of September 2023."
Hi, Is this Nprinting objects blank issue fixed in QlikView May 2023 SR1?
In one of the support case its mentioned as issue fixed. We upgraded to QlikViewMay 2023 SR1 and still we are facing the issue.
Thanks,
Dhanu
@Rakesh_HB Any update regarding the release date of the fix ?
Hello All,
Please read our Release notes Qlik View May 2023 SR1 for QV-24977
Because of a critical issue with chart rendering in NPrinting reports we had to revert the fix QV-19899. This is a potential problem for servers with Enable Push from Server enabled since it can lead to reports failing. If this should occur, we recommend disabling Push from Server.
To do this,
Please let us know if the issue is resolved.
