Cycling Report with Assigning Password from Qlikview field

My requirement is to create a report in nPrinting 16.

I need to cycle the report to generate it for all customers in Customer ID field from Qlikview.

In addition I need to protect the report with distinct Customer password that is defined in Password field.

It seems I have to import recipients with their passwords in order to acheive this objective or use one fixed password.

Is there a way to cycle and assign password from correspondent password field?

Hi,

You will need to either  assign passwords manually or  assign passwords using a Recipient Imports Task.

Thanks Daniel. I want to avoid using recipient because that is not effecient for large number of reports (more than 15000) and it is not possible to use one password for all.

I need to read the password from a field. is that possible ?

Hi,

No, it is not possible to read the password from a field.

Just an idea - you may want to explore the possibility of exporting relevant QlikView table fields & values (including the passwords) to an Excel file and use that file as the source for an Import Recipient Task.

Hello,

Currently that is what I do but I beleive creating reports for 'recipients' needs double time of cycling.

That is why I'm searching for better solution.
