Duplicate user warning during LDAP import

I am on Qlik NPrinting February 2025 SR2 (Version: 25.5.8.0). I have been the admin for several years and there has never been a problem with the LDAP user import until recently.

The warning message I am seeing is: Importing USER with name 'Smith, Robert' : skipped because another user with the same name exists in the import data.

We do, in fact, have 2 Robert Smiths, but they have different samAccountName values and different email values. I thought that the email was the unique identifier for a user account in Qlik Nprinting.

I am using the default recommended values on the Entry Attributes screen of the LDAP Import task (with the exception of the value for "User identification" - I am using "user" instead of "inetOrgPerson").

I tried deleting the user and rerunning the Import Task but got the same warning result.

Any ideas on how I can bring in both Robert Smiths? Thanks for the help.

Thanks. Because my import is from LDAP directly I don't have the opportunity to tweak the display name when entering the data. If necessary I suppose I could add one user manually and change his name that way.
