Hi All,
Having an issue with reports emailed as excel file attachment while using Nprinting 17.6 (Nov 2017). All excel reports open as read-only workbook and cannot be edited even for simple things like filtering.
Is there a way to change this so that when the report is emailed , users will be able to open it and edit the report??
Hi,
This issue is not related with Qlik NPrinting, it is related to the configuration of the email client. For example, about Outlook official Microsoft web site says https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2383602/attachments-open-read-only-in-outlook-2010
If you want to do a test, send an email with an Excel attachment to one of the address that have the issue from your usual email client and than open that email in the same computer is giving you issues with emails from Qlik NPrinting. I did and also Excel from other email clients are opened in read only mode.
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Thanks Ruggero. Sorry for the late reply as i was out for the holidays. This did solve the issue and agree that it is not a Nprinting issue.
