Format - Excel Designer - > April 2018

Hello together,

can someone tell me how to use the format option in Designer for e.g. Excel Reports?

I've tried several things, like #.###,## or num or money.. one time it seems to work, for a second time not.

On help.qlik.com i can't find nothing.

Maybe, but what if i don't have access to the qlikview application?

Therefore i have to change the format in the editor..

yes you need to do in excel  .

here excel functionalities will work.

Ok, that's also a possibility. But why do I need the format field in the designer?
