Hi,
I suggest you start by searching for similar conversations here in the community. For example:
- Using Date Filter in Qlik NPrinting
- problem with a date filter in Qlik NPrinting
- date filter gives error
Then evaluate to use Advanced Search Creating a dynamic filter with advanced search, my suggestion is to create the same selection in Qlik Sense and be sure it is working correctly there before using it in a Qlik NPrinting filter.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Ruggero

I agree with Ruggero to use the Advanced Search filter tool to handle operators in your function and to test it in Qlik Sense. This type of filter is built specifically to handle those.
Try also removing the comma from the formula.
ie: <MonthStart(today()-1) not <MonthStart(today(),-1)
