How to get Reload time stamp in Mail Text

Hello Qlik-Community,

I have the challenge of adding the time stamp of the last reload time of the source-app of my nPrinting report that is sent automatically into my mail text. How can I do that?

I know, the function inside the Report itself would be reloadTime(), however I can't just place the funktion into the mail text. And as far as I understood it I only can add variables from the report into the text via the variables button. And sadly, I don`t have said variable here (since for that the function reloadTime() is used.

Do I miss something here, or is it as tricky as it feels right now?

I hope you can help me!

faithful regards,

Sapphire

Hi,

Yes-you are right, the only reasonable options is use of ReloadTime() Qlik Sense/QlikView function. When used in NPrinting we can either:

  • have variable created in Qlik Sense with =ReloadTime() function - that will also allow for use directly in email body an email subject
  • have NPrinting formula with =ReloadTime() function - that can be used only in template
  • lastly you can put formula in html report and embed that in email body.

cheers
