Hi Community,
We have recently upgraded to Nprinting 17. Previously we were executing Nprinting jobs by triggering the .nsq files. But as .nsq files are no longer generated in Nprinting 17, how to trigger the jobs using batch file/command line?
Please advise.

Hi Lech,
It is now possible to start a NPrinting task using the API. That's great!
But is it true that you can't start an Import task?
I hope you can help me, because that is a big issue for me...
Thanks!
Halmar
I do not play with API's as they are still in beta/experimental stage and i cannot use them when delivering solution to clients s service - it would be a nightmare to support.
API Stability: Experimental.
Deprecation period: None. Can change at any point and should be used only to evaluate upcoming functionality.
Version: 0.4.0
I am not sure why import task would not work? From what i recall API is asking for TASK Id and Import task has an Id just like other taks
There are user management APIs which will allow you to create, modify and delete users, filters and groups.
Documentation here including a project fror Active Directory sync:
Starting in June 2017, APIs for user management were released which allow you to create/edit/delete users, groups and roles in NPrinting without doing so in the web console. The documentation for the APIs is here: http://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2017/APIs/NP%20API/
There is also a tool that we have developed (http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/598869b797a240c095e46b65) that uses the APIs to sync user data in Active Directory with NPrinting. Here is a short video about the tool: https://youtu.be/z77VSGe7Nak
