Hi,

Two very important information:

  • Qlik NPrinting (and QlikView NPrinting too) is an Enterprise class software with many features. You must be trained before starting to use it, you cannot just sit down in front of Qlik NPrinting Designer and be able to create sophisticated reports. Please, start by studying the official help site https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2019/Content/NPrinting/Introduction/Introduction.htm. The help site has also training videos and working examples and a complete chapter about PixelPerfect.
  • This is a community of volunteers without any warranted service level agreement. If you need urgent support you need to open a support ticket. Here people share their knowledge and time for free.
  1. Drag and drop two labels from the left side tool Box.
  2. Set Visible = No on both Property Grid.
  3. Type the singular string (student) into the first label
  4. Apply the formatting rule that made the singular label visible as explained in the tutorial
  5. Type the plural string (students) into the second label
  6. Apply the formatting rule that made the plural label visible when count()>1 as explained in the tutorial
  7. Overlap the cells so they will be printed in the same position in both cases

I tested this solution and it worked in Excel and PDF.
