Inserting Table Adds Excel Rows

Hi all,

I'm having some issues with Excel and nPrinting. Unfortunately, not only are my inserted charts creating excessive excel rows, but also the tables that I insert are creating rows. As you can see from the pictures, they are really knocking off the format of my reports. Any suggestions?

Suggestions?

  1. study https://help.qlik.com as this is how NPrinitng works and report design needs to cater for that. If you have static report template with set number of rows you may want to play with property called: "Expand range" https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2020/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Designer-pro... which may be a solution for what you need.
  2. Regarding images - you have already discussed this here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting-Discussions/Images-in-Excel-keep-adding-rows/td-p/17633... - and this is how it works... full stop. The workaround is to use excel charts but only if they are not part of the level...

I know that it may be annoying, but you kinda need to know tools limitations when designing reports hence my suggestion to study help tutorials as a start...

cheers Lech, When applicable please mark the correct/appropriate replies as "solution" (you can mark up to 3 "solutions". Please LIKE threads if the provided solution is helpful to the problem.

Thank you for the fast response and solution! Unchecking expand did what I needed it too. I really appreciate it.
