Instertion of a picture with NPrinting.

Hello everyone,

I want to insert a picture in an Excel report with NPrinting. In the Template, the import is made by dragging and droping a tag of the picture.However, when the report is generated, the picture loses all the features of the tag. What should I do to keep them?

I have put  the template and the repport in attachement.our help

Hi Benjamin,

In order to test we need the entire project - QVW, NSQ and report template. Also an explanation with screen shots of what you expect and what you actually get will be helpful.

Excel gives you less options than say PowerPoint. Basically you have the option to set the height and width in pixels and then select one of these properties:

• Don't Fit: (Default in Excel): embeds images exactly as they are exported from QlikView.
• Fit Inside: image height and width are the same as exported from QlikView or the height and width are reduced proportionally until both are smaller than the settings in the template. Image quality is not degraded.
• Fit Width: image width is the same width as exported from QlikView or the width set in the template, whichever is less. Image height is adjusted proportionally.
• Fit Height: image height is the same height as exported from QlikView or the height set in the template, whichever is less. Image width is adjusted proportionally.
• Stretch: (Default in PowerPoint and Word): image dimensions are increased or decreased proportionately until one is the same as set in the template and the other is less than the corresponding dimension.

What are the results you would like to see in the generated report?

You may have to use several objects, depending on what it is you are trying to achieve.

Is there a reason you are using Excel or have to use Excel?

Excel lets you modify image size based on the info Daniel provided.  PowerPoint and word will drag in a sample of the image and allow you to resize by dragging the corners of the iamge
