Manual Run works, not scheduled

Hi,

As topic says. Does anyone know what the issue for this might be? I can run reports in Nprinting manually and it works fine. But when I set a schedule to send a report it doestn work. No logfile no nothing.

Are you using NPrinting Server to schedule or just setting desktop to Schedule-mode?

Sorry I don't understand.. But I can say that I had reports running as scheduled for months. Then all of a sudden it stopped. I can run them manually through designer and it sends email and uploads to ftp. But if I schedule a report 5 min from now it doesn't work.

i have also checked the logfile after scheduling and it has no information about the task.

There are 2 likely culprits:

1)     The user running the scheduled job does not have the necessary read/write privileges.

2)     Virus checking is locking a file that the task needs.

I solved it!

For you guys who encounter this issue. I stopped and started the service in QMC and it solved my problem. Thanks anyway David!
