In NPrinting 16 I have an NSQ with existing connection, reports, and filters, all working as expected. I tried to add a new filter, and in the New Filter dialog, there are no connections to choose from.
I have refreshed the object list, made the connection the default, and saved and reopened the NSQ, with the same result.
I have had a similar problem with reports in the past, which was fixed by saving a change to the report template. How can I get my new filter to recognize the available connection?

I went through the steps of adding a filter in NP 16.9.
To populate that blank field, you need to follow the steps in the following image:
