NPrinting Engine Status Showing Offline

Hello Team,

I am facing an issue with Qlik N-Printing.

Environment:

- N-Printing Version: 19.x

- Engine Server: lvqlikdev03

Issue:
The Engine status is showing Offline in N-Printing Admin Console.
Observed Behavior:
The Engine service starts and immediately stops.
Engine Log:
Starting up Engine service
Certificates exchange HTTP server listening on http://localhost:4997/
Stopping Engine service
Engine service stopped

Could anyone advise how to bring the Engine online.

Thank you.

Hi

Check the Engine log first

On lvqlikdev03, open nprinting_engine.log and check the lines immediately after: Certificates exchange HTTP server listening on http://localhost:4997/

If you see “QlikView license violation detected”, activate QlikView Desktop for the Windows account running the NPrinting Engine service

@ksharma17 Nov 19 is super duper old, I'd start there first by upgrading:

The #1 best practice is take a snapshot before you do anything, so if something goes awry during the upgrade you can revert back!
