NPrinting Newstand not reachable

Hello,

we encountered a problem in reaching the Newstand Portal by Browser.

When we type https://qlik03:4994/ the page shows "this page can't be displayed".

All NPrinting service are running. NPrinting Webconsole is reachable and fully functional.

We tried to type: http://qlik03:4994/     https://localhost:4994/  and use different browser but without success.

If we check which process is listening on port 4994 (default for Newstand), we find no process! It's a strange behaviour.

How can we restore the functionality of Newstand?

Is there any log file for Newstand ? Which service runs Newstand?

NPrinting version installed: 21.0

Grateful for any suggestion.

Thank you

Was there an upgrade recently?

What changes were done in your environment that may have caused this?

When was this last working?

Did you secure the NPrinting Web Console recently with a third party certificate? if yes, then you need to update the .conf file for newsstand as you did for the web console.

Can you share the NPrinting Web Engine log here?

Hi guys,

I found a difference in the path to certificates between app.conf files in \newstandproxy and \webconsoleproxy folders.

I copied the correct path from \webconsoleproxy config file to \newsstandproxy config file, restarted all NPrinting services and NewsStand works fine now.

Thank you all for your suggestions

Hi,

The label says you are using September 2020 instead the text says 21.0. Please check, thanks.

The NewsStand is running by the Web Service so please also check related logs https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2020/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Loggi....

Be also sure that after installation the port of the service was not changed https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2020/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Ports.htm...

Post also a screenshot of what you see on the browser and give a check with the developers console if you have errors.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
