NPrinting - On Demand

Hello All,

Am trying to utilize the On demand NPrinting report in qliksense, I have done all the basic settings, and it is working only if the browser is not secured. If we open the browser in Secured mode then its showing the error like "Unable to connect to server", screenshot 1: its showing error if its opened in secured mode

Could you please help me to overcome this?

There are several reasons and solutions to unable to connect to server.

But essentially, your configuration is incomplete or requires some refinement.

To solve this check this video:

STT - NPrinting On-Demand with Qlik Sense Troubles... - Qlik Community - 1953198

And or this article
Troubleshooting NPrinting and Qlik Sense On Demand - 1759480

Also if you are connecting to a secured NP server address (secured by a certificate), then ensure you have removed the password from the .key file as mentioned here

Kind regards...

Hi,

When opening a new conversation in the community, please, add the label of the version of Qlik NPrinting you are using: the answer could depend on it.

Plus all versions you added are no more supported so be sure you are running a supported version.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

The net cerr error may indicate a password in your .key file.

I mentioned this earlier

Also if you are connecting to a secured NP server address (secured by a certificate), then ensure you have removed the password from the .key file as mentioned here

Follow the steps in the article carefully or you will continue to get the error.

Hello @GOKULAKANNAN ,

Have you installed a trusted certificate for the NPrinting server? When you connect to https://nprintingserver:4993/ have you a certificate warning?

During on-demand connection, QlikSense try to open the NPrinting page but if you have an untrusted certificate the browser block the connection. NPrinting on-demand works only with a trusted certificate.

Hi,

In the developer console you have an error with a link to the NTML authentication. Click on that link and accept the certificate.
