NPrinting Reverse Proxy

Looking for info on supported configurations for adding a reverse proxy to NPrinting (connected to Sense NOT View).

I would like to setup an F5 as a reverse proxy for nprinting newsstand to clean up the newsstand URL.

From this - servername:4994/#/reports

To this - newsstand.domain.com

Has anyone successfully implemented a reverse proxy setup for NPrinting 17.x?

I'm sure it could be made to work, but is it supported?

Did you ever make this work? We're also having some issues due to a reverse proxy. If you have a solution, I'd like to hear it!

I started working with our network engineer this week, hopefully we can get something setup by next week.

I'll post an update if we get anything to work.

I guess what you need to do is request is DNS entry to route from servername:4994/#/reports  to newsstand.domain.com.

I don't think you need a reverse proxy.

As far as I know DNS only maps names not ports.

Using DNS would result in this: newsstand.domain.com:4994/#/reports
