Hello,
I have a Qlik View application with some 15 reports set up in NPrinting currently. Specific user groups receive specific reports at set intervals but would like to be able to pull the reports themselves, whenever they need them.
My understanding is that the subscription function is available for exactly this purpose, however, users can then select any of my reports for this application.
Is there a way to limit the list of reports they can see for a subscription?
Thanks!
Hi,
You can set access rights at app level. Setting access at reports level is not possible. If a user has a role that gives access to an app and the user can see the report he/she will see all reports.
Of course, user's filters are always applied. If a user subscribes a report you don't want the user will see, the report will always be generated with user's filters so the user will never see unauthorized data.
If you want to limit the reports visible by a user you can create an app with only those reports. Then create another app with the same connections and other report, or the same reports exported and reimported.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
