NPrinting without Qlik View? Only Qlik Sense

Is it necessary "QlikView" to "Qlik NPrinting" work?

According documentation, it is yes, but I don't know why.

It has to do with how the engine works, it wasn't made to work with the Sense API.

Maybe in the future they will remove the need for QlikView but right now we still need it.

If you are using NPrinting with Sense only, then QlikView desktop is not required.

It may generate a row in the log file, but it will work and it is supported.
