We have some users that did not get the attachment but they do get the email. We have the section access security enable. The reason is because we want to only send the report to the users based on the section access in Qlik APP. The security works in Qlik Sense. All other users who received the report only gets the data that belongs to them. I just can't figure out why some users do not get the report at all. We just get an error that says there was an issue generating and to contact their administrator. The users who received the report have the same setup role as the one that are not receiving it.

The filters applied to the report may be resulting in an empty data set.
So you need to find out if the combination of user filters and possible report/task or other filters are resulting in an empty chart which is also used in the report. The user might have data for other charts not in the report.
However, you can produce an empty report by enabling that feature. To enable empty charts however, you must have NPrinting April 2018 or higher installed.
This is enabled as per the error handling section of this attached image.
If you still feel there is an issue, then your next step will be to submit a support request to the Qlik Support desk.

Thanks, there is data for those two users. When they logged into Qlik App they see the data. Just for some reason they are not getting the attachment. We are not using filter but the "Apply Users Section access for reports" in the Connection screen.
yes, I checked their domain access and it is exactly the same as what was in the security access in Qlik Sense. He was able to export the report.
"He was able to export the report".- Did you mean that report was generated to folder, but not to an email?
If so i would assume that attachement is to big ?

Long conversation that still miss two fundamental information:
- the version of the software you are using. If you have not latest Qlik NPrinting please upgrade
- the complete log files of Qlik NPrinting
Check also the log files of the SMTP server.
Ad Franks says there should be other filters applied to the task, the report or the users that are combined with section access and the result is an empty dataset. In that case the email is sent without attachments.
