Nprinting 17 error: the handshake failed due to an unexpected packet format

We want to package the NPrinting 17.3 designer. We've installed the designer on a testworkstation.

We wanted to test the designer. We start the webapplication and click on the tab Reports en choose a existing template and pushed the button "Edit template".

At this point we get a error ( attachment):

De handshake is mislukt als gevolg van een onverwachte pakketgrootte = the handshake failed due to an unexpected packet format

We've already running the designer on a other machine (server) and when we run the designer it works.

Hi Patricia,

Just out of curiosity - is your designer version the same as the Server and Engine version.

To be frank i would expect you to be +/- on later version of NPrinting (like February 2018 or maybe April 2018)

Maybe try to upgrade first all components to more stable latest version and retry?
