Nprinting Throws error:Not enough storage available to complete this operation.

Hi All,

I'm facing an issue while generating Report from Nprinting 16.4 , The reports gets generated and gets distributed as well. But somehow when the Nprinting is closing the NSQ file it throws the "Not enough storage available to complete this operation".

The only solution is to Restart the Nprinting service. Please see the below error message .

i don't think this issue is related to storage. is it a permission issues/ Schedules.xml/ memory leakage issue.?Any help?

Hi,

First of all upgrade to latest 16 version available, the 16.8. Then try again and check if the issue persists.

Check also the available space in the storage listed in the logs when Qlik NPrinting is working. The error message seems clear so be sure to have free space. Note that Qlik NPrinting produces temporary files during the reports generation. That temporary files are deleted at the end of the process but there must be free storage space to save them.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi abhishek,

please find below thread it helps you.

Kindly check.

It  create a temporary file before overwriting the Source/User document. Temporary files are created on Nprinting Server C:\ProgramData\... Does that drive have enough free space as well?

Re: Error while reloading?

Thanks,

Hi Arvind,

regarding your link - it looks like you have missed that we are talking here about NPritnign task (NOT QMC task).

regarding space on hard drive - good point! i will add that it might refer to any drive where you are trying to store reports too as well as the drive where with user folder on NPrinting server.

cheers

Lech

Will check the quota on the c:drive and let you know.

any guess why the scheduler is getting hanged and required restart?

Your new error indicates that there are permissions issues on the box. Is the service account local administrator? and has all permissions to access required folders?

Nope, we cannot as the nprinting is shared among many teams and they are not willing to upgrade.
