Nprinting create a dynamic filter for report for multiple fields

Good day, I trust you are well.

I would like to create a dynamic filter which should be selected based on the Managers level.

My dataset is based on the Managerial Hierarchy - There are 15 levels in total. Level_1, Level_2, Level_3 all the way to 15. The issue I am faced is that I have over 300 managers and each of those manager have a different level. How do I go about creating a filter that will dynamically select the managers level? The levels are different fields not 1 field but there are 15 fields.

For example:

Manager A is Level_1 therefore the filter would be: Field = Level_1, Value = 'Manager A'

Manager B is Level_12 therefore the filter would be: Field = Level_12, Value = 'Manager B'

Manager C is Level_2 therefore the filter would be: Field = Level_2, Value = 'Manager C'

Manager D is Level_13 therefore the filter would be: Field = Level_13, Value = 'Manager D'

Please note that these levels may change as someone may be demoted (1 level down) or promoted (1 level up).

There are over 400 Managers which means there are over 400 filters to be created.

Please advise how do I achieve this?

Hi,

You can manually create the filters and associate them with users or you can use the import from Excel feature documented in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2019/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Import-Users-F.... Importing users from an Excel file will let you to create the filters and associate them with related user. Of course you have to create the Excel source file with exactly the structure of the sample file that you can download from https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2019/Content/NPrinting/Examples/Examples.htm. Use the Exce...
