Nprinting designer Not working

Hello All,

Nprinting designer is not working on my machine. I have installed version 21.0.2.0 but when I open the template editor the designer is opening in a small window and starts blinking and gets freeze if I click on the template. I have tried uninstalling and installing but no luck. Previously I faced the same issue with version 19 as well. The other developers in my team has no issues with these 2 versions. Not sure what's wrong in my machine. Please can someone help me on this issue?

You likely need to update your zoom/advanced scaling settings on your desktop. Unfortunately you need to set this to 100 percent for all of your monitors then reboot your computer.

Please also keep in mind that your NP designer must be the same version as your NP server or you could end up with damaged reports due to developing with different versions.

Requirements

These Qlik NPrinting Designer requirements are for configurations where each Qlik NPrinting component is installed on a different computer. If you install more than one component (for example, the server and the engine) on the same computer, the minimum hardware requirements increase.

  • Qlik NPrinting Designer must be the same version as Qlik NPrinting Server.

Thank you so much Frank!!! It's working fine now. As you suggested I will uninstall designer version 21  and install version 19 to match with my Nprinting version.

Just a quick note however that NPrinting 2019 is long out of support and would suggest upgrading to may 2021 or higher.

 

You can also upgrade directly to May 2022 SR 4 if your Operating System, Qlik Sense (or QlikView) versions are compliant with the upgrade.
