Nprinting task in web console hangs after generating few reports

Hello All,

We have a report in nprinting that will send lot of reports to the users based on ID.In Qlikview application we have created a pivot table for this and from that report will fetch data to nprinting.

As we have recently upgraded our both Qlikview(12.70) and Nprinting(22.15.14.0 sr4) to May 2022 Version.Post upgrading only this task hangs after few reports generation and it was ran successfully before upgrade.

It's running entire day with out failing.Not sure what's the reason for this.

Please help me on this,thanks.

Hi, 

when creating new post please make sure you provide relevant informations. Using labels like (Qlik World, SaaS, Technical Preview or Qlik NPrinting migration tool) causes confusion and creates mess. Your question has nothing common with either of those tags so Lebels should only contain the exact version of NPrinting you are using and info whether it is QlikView or Qlik Sense.

Now:

  • Have you upgraded QlikView desktop version on NPrinting engine node? It must be the same as server version
  • Have you regenerated metadata?
  • What do you see in logs and task executions?

Hello All,

Everything looks good and all the settings ,configuration and compatibility also fine.

Is there any workaround for now, to send multiple reports to the users ?

Hi,

In a Publish Task you can add as many templates as you want and all added and active templates will be sent to all selected and active users or groups if there are no conditions applied.
