Hello,
I have to install and configure Nprinting for my client, I have some questions:
Thank you.
Hi Amira,
18.9.5 (April 2018). Because it's the latest & greatest - every new release includes improvements & bug fixes so, as a rule of thumb, you should always consider the latest version unless there are some known compatibility issues. Go through the System Requirements (see next point) and release notes.
I suggest you plan your deployment by going through the online documentation starting here:https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Deploying.htm
Is it better to install Nprinting Server on an existing machine that contains Qlikview server?
No. You should NOT install NPrinting Server on a machine running QlikView Server or Qlik Sense. Ideally NPrinting should be installed on it's own box. Look under Unsupported Configurations here: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Supported-unsupported-c...
