Passing filters in On Demand Report

Dear all

I have two Qlik Sense apps:

App A is only for On Demand Reporting

App B contains charts to be used in an On Demand Report that is called in app A

Is there any possibility to pass filter information (selected values, variables ...) from app A to the NPrinting filter connected to app B?

App A uses the same QVD files as app B so for example  filters can be created simiarly.

I disagree with statement that this is not always possible. 
I can agree that this is not always convenient or easy to do, but it is always possible. 

As extreme example: you can even have 2 independent datamodels in one Qlik Sense app, which will allow you straight away to use one connection and hence apply on demand selections. 

or

you can spend time properly designing combined and optimised model.

I also often mention that due to this fact you often have to maintain separate model just for Nprinting-often aggregated, and optimized to work faster.
