Pixel Perfect PDF will not print

Greetings.  I'm on the Feb 2025 SR2 version of NPrinting (I don't know why I can't find that version in the drop down select).  I've created a series of reports with Pixel Perfect, rendering as PDF.  They look great.  But when my user attempts to print the file, she tells me it hangs and never finishes.  Our company, by default, opens PDFs with Edge (Version 146.0.3856.62).  I get the same results - The 156KB pdf sits and spools forever, churning through CPU and memory.

I copied the report to my home system.  I can open it on Firefox and print, instant save to PDF or to printer, no issues.  Same with Document Viewer.  Oddly enough, if I copy the PDF printout from my home computer, it prints fine at work through Edge.  I can also print other PDFs from my work Edge (including some Excel to PDFs generated from NPrinting).

Any ideas why the pixel perfect pdf is gacking?

Thanks.

Hi @SHurleyQuorum

I am assuming NPrinting produces PDF report properly and your issue is actually related to that PDF being printed on actual paper.

Well - if that is the case I am not sure why we even talk about NPrinting here. You already mentioned that there is no issue of printing a file on your home computer so I would rather speak to your IT infrastructure team about this as there is nothing in NPrinting we could set to change print to printer behaviour.

I suspect issue sits somewhere else in your company policies or settings.

cheers
