Hi,
We have upgraded Qlik Sense and Nprinting version to the latest available. Would like to know whether there is any existing tool or a method to find the differences for before and after of different sections or categories like App, connections, etc.,
We see the number of count is higher post upgrade in almost all sections of QS and NPRINting. Manually doing the comparison is quite time consuming and thus asking the question.
Thanks.
Hello @Taraka
I would suggest you to refer our Release Notes which explain new features added, issues resolved, and improvements in Qlik Solutions.
Hope it helps!
I don't follow your question, can you post a screenshot perhaps to better illustrate your question?
Give me a different answer if you have.
Surprise you could not follow the question.
After upgrade the APP Objects count in QS QMC were 7204 and before the upgrade the count was 7177.
After upgrade the APP count in QS QMC were 567 and before the upgrade the count was 565.
And so on..
So, is there a way to find these differences.
Thanks.
Hi @Taraka
You are talking about if "there is any existing tool or a method to find the differences for before and after of different sections or categories like App..."
Otherwise I am not sure what you are doing different that you are having different count of objects.
Small difference is - when installing new version of Qlik Sense you may be installing new versions of monitoring apps and old ones are archived, however that should not change the overall count of the apps users developed.
cheers
Hi @Taraka
Apart from the fact that new monitoring apps are created and old ones are archived can you give me example from NPrinting where there is difference? NPrinting after upgrade should not have any changes to the count of objects in it so I dont think there is actually any difference!
cheers
@Taraka 2 extra Apps is because of new releases of monitoring apps. Old versions get archived so 2 new.
This to should/could be the case for App objects
Thanks all for replying.
Thanks Lech and P_verkooijen.
No straight or direct tool available to generate the summary. Cannot say above replies were very helpful but certainly gave some direction. Thanks.
