Qlik NPrinting Font Issue

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a Word document which will be distributed in PDF format. The document used a font called Roboto that I already installed in my laptop and I see it in Word without any problems. Moreover, I have also installed that font on the NPrinting Server.  In order to test this distribution, I have created a task to check the PDF document. However, all the titles with Roboto are not shown properly. It is like the font is not supported by NPrinting or something.

On the image, you can see the difference between. The FPAY title used Roboto as a font.

Thanks!

Which version of Qlik NPriniting are you using? Make sure that your server and your pc designer are on the same version.

I don't know the details of Roboto font, but could it be installed with an Open Type Font format?

According  the Qlik Help only True Type Fonts are supported. See https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/Troubleshooting/Fonts-do-not-display...

Hi,

I would like to add to the previous two answers that the True Type Font must be installed on all Qlik NPrinting Engines, not on the Server.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hello,

Then you could try to generate the same report in DOC format and open it in your pc to test the font generation.

If you see the right font, verify that you have installed the font in server as an administrator for all users, not only for you.

Thanks to everybody! Now, the report is correctly displaying the font. The font was reinstalled, and then the services were restarted.

  1. Make sure font meets criteria mentioned by @Vegar
  2. Have you rebooted NPrinting server after you installed font?
