Section access to NAS Folder Storage in Qlik Sense and Nprinting

Hi All,

I want to send PPT Report to two levels of users, Group Level and Regional level. In section access i gave two levels of access(Group and Regional Level).

I am placing my reports in NewsStand first section access working here. A user with Region 1 access getting that particular region Report only. But when it comes to NAS Drive storage regional user also getting all regions reports.

Why section access is not working for NAS drive Folder storage or am i missing any action while storing reports in NAS Folder?

Create the destination folder using Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths, such as \\ServerName\NPrintingServer\QlikViewDocuments.

Are you using dedicated user folders as a destination?

dedicated NAS Folder ( EX: Y:/Source/NPritning Report).

For each user we give access to that NAS drive.

that is not correct path - it should be UNC path including user folder or subfolder in it.

Furthermore, NAS drives might use unix file systems which mean section access may not work since windows and NPrinting requires windows file systems.
