Store Nprinting output in folder and sub folder structure

Hi All,

I've generated 3 reports by region i.e. Central, East, West using Qlik Nprinting PowerPoint template.

I want to store these output in the following manner, a folder will have 3 sub folders having one report by region.

Please let me know if the sub folders can be created on the fly using NPrinting tasks.

Thanks,

Jaswanth

Hi Jaswanth

If you have used cycle function on report then SubFolder cannot be created dynamicaly for each value in the cycle. This functionality is not yet available in NPrinitng 17&18+.

In Destination you can use QlikView variable as part of folder structure. But for this to work you would have to create dummy users (1 for each region) with region filter in each of them.

This would allow variable to evaluate each time report is generated and would create expected by you result

hope this helps

Lech

Hi,

In Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR3 there is this issue solved:

Qlik variables used in folder destinations were not working correctly
Qlik variables used to define folder destinations were not replaced with their values when used on publish tasks with multiple users or in reports with dynamic naming.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
