Using a wildcard SSL certificate

I'm trying to install a wildcard SSL certificate from GoDaddy on our NPrinting server. I thought I could copy it from our Qlik Sense on Windows server, but that didn't seem to work. Can you confirm that I need to send a new CSR to GoDaddy from the NPrinting server? We're using NPrinting February 2025, not May 2023, but the drop-down doesn't have more recent versions.

Hi, I've configured using the same wildcard certificate for different companies, so it should work.

Note that the required format of the certificate is different from QS to NP, so maybe you need to convert the  pfx certificate to .crt and .key.

@Lauri yes request it from your NP server that should work, I can't find any documentation that states this specifically, but I have found several other cases where it wouldn't work with a wildcard

Thank you for the help. We downloaded the PFX from GoDaddy and installed the .crt and .key. That appears to work but now we have to figure out how to direct traffic to the purchased domain name over port 4993. That's another issue...

@Lauri I believe a reverse proxy server will be needed, also you can change the default ports if needed: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-Change-Default-NPrinting-Ports/ta-p/1...
