Using sheet in Nprinting 19

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if we can add a Qlik Sense application sheet in mail body of N printing report. Also can we have a scroll to see all the data available in chart?

Hi,

Few things for the future when posting questions:

1. Please only use only labels which refer to the versions of software you are using as depending on software version you will get different answers. So which version are you referring to?

  • February 2019
  • April 2019
  • June 2019
  • September 2019 - only this version support sheets output as image
  • November 2019 (not available officially yet) - this will also support sheets output as image

Now to your question:

Sheet can be exported as an Image in most recent NPrinting (with Qlik Sense Feb 2019 or newer). As you know images are not interactive hence you will not be able to have (or control) scrollbars. All what you can do is control image rendering resolution which will result in more/less data visible if there are scrollbars:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/September2019/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Image-Dimen...

Image can be used in HTML template which can be embedded in email body.

keep in mind that:

If your objects are not appearing in your reports correctly, there could be an issue with your connections, or with your Qlik Sense app or QlikView document.

Note:Qlik Sense sheets can be used as images in report templates. However, if your sheet contains unsupported objects, parts of the image will be blank.

Hi,

I agree with @Lech_Miszkiewicz , you must use a single label in every post because the answer could depend from the version.

From September 2019 Release Notes:

Qlik Sense sheets can be added as images
Qlik Sense sheets can be added in the Images node of Qlik NPrinting report templates.
This feature requires Qlik Sense February 2019 or newer and connection caches must be refreshed after Qlik NPrinting upgrade.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
